Firewood
October 2009: Due to an unprecedented demand
for firewood the Trust has decided to supply logs to
previous customers only, we are sorry for any
inconvenience this may cause.
Non-fossil fuel from well-managed, sustainable woodlands
in Cuerden Valley Park.

The wood is seasoned, as freshly cut logs contain
about 50% water. Trees are felled in the winter and
stacked to season over summer before they are ready
for burning the following winter.
Well-seasoned ash, sycamore, oak, birch and beech are
all good firewood.
