Jim Longbottom - Park Manager
Jim is a graduate from the University of Wales in Cardiff,
and joined the Trust in June 1992 as the first Park Ranger.
Richard Tanner - Ranger
Richard is a graduate in Applied Biology. He worked for
The National Trust as a volunteer before joining Cuerden
Valley Park Trust in April 1997.
Darren Williams - Ranger
Darren joined the Trust as a Trainee Ranger sponsored
by Lancashire Environmental Fund in February 2006 and
he became a full time Ranger in November 2007.
Joe Brindle - Estate Worker
Joe worked for four weeks
as a volunteer, in 2005, before being offered the
position of Estate Worker in March, he had just finished
a fine arts course at college when the volunteering
opportunity came up. In his spare time Joe's drum and
base band Unjust play gigs around the area.
Pauline Taylor - Education Officer
Pauline is a graduate from Lancaster in Ecology and a
Primary School teacher. She joined the staff in 2006 and
co-ordinates the education programme on the Park
Lesley Russell - Administration Officer/Company
Secretary
Lesley is a member of
the Chartered Managers Institute and has a
varied background in Management and Accounts. She joined
the Trust in 2006 and runs the office, deals with the
day to day accounts and manages the Trustees.
Jed
Other ‘members’ of the Staff include Richard Tanner’s
dog, Jed who is always to be found close to his master,
come rain or shine. Unlike other members of Staff, Jed is
not entitled to a pension.
